Barbara Galindo Rodrigues Marcos

Dr. Barbara Galindo is a Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Media and Cultural Studies at the University of California, Riverside. She holds a Ph.D. in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has served as an ACLS Emerging Voices Postdoctoral Fellow in Race, Ethnicity, and Indigeneity at the UW-Madison’s Institute for Research in the Humanities. Her research develops a new critical framework for understanding socio-environmental issues in Latin America/Abya Yala. Recent publications can be found in the Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies, LACIS Review, and the Bulletin of Latin American Research.
