Jacqueline Loss

Jacqueline Loss is Professor of Latin American Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of Connecticut. She is the author of Dreaming in Russian: The Cuban Soviet Imaginary and Cosmopolitanisms and Latin America, and co-editor of The Cambridge History of Cuban Literature, Caviar with Rum: Cuba-USSR and the Post-Soviet Experience, and New Short Fiction from Cuba. Her work has appeared in Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies, Bomb, Asymptote, and others. She curated Selected Pages (2022), featuring Gertrudis Rivalta’s artwork, and is completing FINOTYPE, a documentary with Juan Carlos Alom.
