Joaquín Serpe

Joaquín Serpe is a media and cultural studies scholar at Emerson College whose research interest focuses on how the transition from broadcast to digital media has transformed media pedagogy and the dissemination of political thought. He received his PhD in Film and Moving Image Studies from Concordia University, Montréal. He also has a background in sound engineering in Argentine television. His work has been published in the Velvet Light Trap, Culture Machine, and the NYU Press edited collection Streaming Video.
