Katerina Ramos-Jordán

Katerina I. Ramos-Jordán is a writer and scholar, born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her first chapbook Echoesistemas (lentos cerramientos) won the Annual Chapbook Prize of 2020 at the Center for Book Arts (New York City). Ramos-Jordán holds an MPhil from Film and Screen Studies at the University of Cambridge and is currently a 3rd year PhD student in the Comparative Literature Department at Brown University. Her research focuses on the resonances of 18th and 19th century history in 20th and 21st century Caribbean literature and film, mainly from Haiti, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Martinique.
