Susannah Rodríguez Drissi

Susannah Rodríguez Drissi is an award-winning Cuban writer, lyricist, playwright, and scholar. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from UCLA, where she teaches in the Writing Programs and the Academic Advancement Program. Her creative and critical work spans literature, performance, film, and music, and she is the author of Until We’re Fish, The Latin Poet’s Guide to the Cosmos, and the forthcoming Nuevo cancionero de trova libre y una carta para Silvio. Her multimedia project Gentlemen Prefer Silence blends autofiction, voice performance, and digital ephemera to explore desire, erasure, and authorship. She lives and creates between languages, platforms, and disciplines.
