Reynaldo Lastre is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Spanish at College of the Holy Cross. He is one of the editors of Anatomía de una Isla: Jóvenes ensayistas cubanos (Ediciones La Luz, 2014) and Isla diseminada: Ensayos sobre Cuba (Hypermedia, 2022). His articles have been published in INTI magazine, laFuga, LLJournal, Revista Cine Cubano, Revista Recial, Rialta, and Hypermedia magazine, among others. He is especially focused on 21st-century cultural production in the Hispanic Caribbean, Latin American films and Literature, the Cold War, and the environment.
