Jonathan Risner is an associate professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Indiana University Bloomington. His research focuses on Latin American genre cinema and he is the author of Blood Circuits: Contemporary Argentine Horror Cinema (SUNY Press, 2018). He has published essays in different collections and in journals, such as Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies, Hispanófila, and Studies in Spanish & Latin American Cinemas.
