Jossianna Arroyo-Martínez is Professor of Caribbean Literatures and Cultures at the Department of Spanish and Portuguese and the Department of African and African Diaspora Studies at The University of Texas, Austin. She specializes in queer, feminist and racial representations of culture in the African Diaspora. Her recent book Caribes 2.0 (Rutgers UP, 2023) is an analysis of transnational Caribbean media representations in neoliberal times.
