Nahuel Ribke is an Associate Professor and Head of the Film Program at the Open University of Israel. His research focuses on the intersections between media industries, political institutions, and cultural practices. He has published extensively on the history of Latin American television, the globalization of genres and formats, and the relationship between film and celebrity politics. His latest book, Multilingual Fiction Series: Genres, Geographies, and Performances, was published by Routledge in May 2025.
